History ColorGuardEducators.com was started in January 2007 as a resource and community for color guard educators: designers, coaches, choreographers, directors, judges, parents and student leaders who are dedicated to providing the best possible experiences for their performers. Not only are we colorguard staff, we are educators. And with that comes a great deal of responsibility both as a choreographer or designer but also as a positive mentor to young people. We hope this site will help you network with other instructors and provide a platform for sharing what you have learned or answering questions when you have them. The site is constantly in development and we welcome your suggestions, contributions and participation! The project is a cooperative effort of coaches who are passionate about supporting one another in an effort to provide more meaningful experiences for their performers and to grow the activity as a whole. As you browse the site you will be able to find articles related to all aspects of coaching and managing a team, educational materials you can use with your students, an extensive links section to help you save time in searching for equipment providers, and a message board for networking with other members of the color guard community.
